Welcome to Term 6!

In English we are writing lots of different texts across the term, from non chronological reports to stories and poems!
In Maths we are learning about decimals, fractions and percentages in year 5. In year 6 we are completing themed projects, such as making cupcakes.

Geography this term is local area, where we will be doing map work, and researching about Swindon and Penhill.

In French this term we will be looking at 4 characters, where they come from and specific celebrations. This includes lots of French learning and speaking! 

DT we will be making bird houses out of wood, after designing them for a specific type of bird.

In PE this term we are doing athletics ready for sports day- sprinting, long jump, javelin etc
